Stuff We Love To Do: Drive a Ford Expedition!
A few weeks ago we got to take a fully loaded #FordExpedition Platinum Max on the road for a week. And what a week it was! When we got the vehicle there was the best welcome bag, filled with Ford themed toys and treats just for Piper!
We kicked it off with some tailgating before #barkatthepark with the Winnipeg Goldeyes and White Lotus Spa! With the kick lift-gate Piper could practically let herself into the back for those hot dogs. :)
The next day we loaded up the Expedition and set out for the Whiteshell and a few days at Falcon Trails cabins. The suspension on the Expedition is amazing, I think we could've driven straight over the Canadian shield and not even feel a bump! The onboard wifi, dual rear headrest entertainment systems, and built in centre console charging pad were amazing for a longer drive. Everything and everyone was fully charged, relaxed, and ready to go when we arrived.
At the lake, we realized Piper is a bit scared to jump into the water off the dock, so we took her for swimming lessons! This turned out to be a highlight of the week. Piper had so much fun at @CanineRehfit, where Jamie did a great job of getting Piper used to the water and she was even going in on her own by the end of the lesson!
After the swimming lessons we went on a shopping spree, thanks to Ford Canada, and picked up some dog toys, treats and supplies for our picnic! The Expedition is so easy to park with all of the arial and backup cameras, which made it great for running errands with Piper. Next, we were off to @WhiteLotusPetSpa for Piper to get a bath and tidy and all cleaned up after her adventures. She came out with a big smile on her face and ready for our picnic!
With the Expedition at our disposal and unlimited storage with the automatic fold down (and up!) back row, we packed it up again in a snap, and took @bunsens_world and his momma on their very first picnic! The parallel park assist features were great for finding parking and we loved that with Ford Pass we could even check on our phone if we had remembered to locked up, all the way across the park from our picnic blankets. We had the best picnic, the tastiest snacks, and watched a beautiful sunset in the park.
The #FordExpedition Platinum Max was a blast to drive around all week. With all those bells and whistles it made driving a breeze, and so much fun! The tech features were definitely our favourite and we sure have missed them since then! It's true what they that you don't know what you're missing... but once you do, you definitely prefer the best!
Thank you again, Ford Canada for a very memorable week with family and friends. The best part of driving the Expedition was the ability to take all of our people and fur-babies along and make some memories.
